Anyways, this is one of my favorite quotes, I've heard it so many times I have no idea who the original author is but it's beautiful and so true ^^ if you're having difficulties reading it (since it's such bad quality I wouldn't be surprised ) it says:
"Religion is man trying to reach God...Christianity is God reaching down to man"

Examples:

Hinduism-The people work hard to please their gods in hopes that they will be let into heaven--or what their equivalent is. (Granted this is only one type of Hinduism, there are various different types ranging from polytheism to atheism)

Buddhism-The people work to achieve nirvana and end the cycle of rebirth so they can go to heaven. (Correct me if I'm wrong my information was given to me by one of my buddhist friends from Mongolia--she doesn't speak the greatest English)

Christianity-"For God so loved the world that He sent His one and only son that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life." -John 3:16

"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God--not by works, so that no one can boast." -Ephesians 2:8-9
